Owner/Director of Strength and Conditioning, CSCS, USAW-L1, XPS

I Am / I Can Strength & Conditioning was built on real transformation and elite training standards. After personally dropping from 245 to 190 pounds, I went on to train alongside the University of Texas at San Antonio and Miami Hurricanes football strength & conditioning staffs, with additional experience in top private gyms in San Antonio and Miami. Today, I bring professional and collegiate-level strength training to everyday athletes who balance real life with serious goals.

My fitness journey began in middle school with at-home workouts and quickly grew into a lifelong passion. During my freshman year of college, a strength and conditioning instructor encouraged me to pursue exercise science a turning point that set my career in motion. I earned my bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, became NASM-certified as a personal trainer, and gained hands-on experience interning with Georgia State University Athletics. Today, I use that education and experience to help motivate and guide others toward sustainable strength, confidence, and performance.

DR. MEGAN

Physical Therapist, DPT

Dr. Megan Francisco Harris is a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in orthopedic and spine rehabilitation, with a focus on back, shoulder, and neck conditions. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch after graduating from Langston University and completed an Orthopedic Residency at Memorial Hermann Ironman Sports Medicine Institute in Houston, where she advanced her clinical expertise, contributed to national research, and refined her manual therapy and diagnostic skills across all ages and activity levels. Dr. Harris is also certified in Dry Needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Passionate about education and empowerment, she helps clients take control of their pain, restore movement, and build a sustainable, active lifestyle through a total-body approach to rehabilitation and fitness.

Aldair Marquez

Registered Dietitian, RDN

Aldair brings over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, with a background in exercise physiology and two years as a Registered Dietitian. His passion is helping people overcome everyday obstacles work, family, or uncertainty that stand in the way of better health. Aldair focuses on removing fear, simplifying the process, and guiding clients toward sustainable habits that support a stronger, healthier life.

  • I Am / I Can Fitness is a great gym with genuinely skilled trainers, and Malcolm, the owner, really knows what he’s doing. I originally joined for aesthetic goals, but over time I learned how important real core strength and mobility are - and I’ve honestly enjoyed that shift in mindset. The atmosphere is supportive, focused, and accountable in a positive way. The classes are varied throughout the day, the membership options are flexible, and the app makes everything easy to book. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get stronger and feel better long term.

  • I've been going to this gym for almost a year now, and I can honestly say this Gym is PHONOMENAL!! By far one of the best gyms I've ever attended. All of the coaches are excellent and extremely knowledgeable.

    I love the small group format, it allows the coaches to give EVERYONE the attention they need throughout the workout and ensure you have the proper technique for the exercises. Every workout is well planned and challenging.

    The atmosphere is also AMAZING! Everyone is super positive and supportive of each other and their goals. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about the gym, coaches and classmates.

    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this gym if you are looking for a positive environment and exceptional coaches that will help you meet and exceed your strength and fitness goals!!!

  • I've been a member of I Am // I Can for 2 months now and the investment has had a return in multiple aspects and facets of my life other than fitness. Because of the positive impact this gym has had I am more cognizant of what I eat, when I goto bed and if I'm hydrated every day!

    The style of workouts are catered towards exactly where you're at in your fitness/health journey as the Coaches are always right there to encourage, guide and motivate you through each exercise.

    I give I Am // I Can five stars and recommend this to everyone to at the very least to give it a try! You will not be disappointed.

  • 10 out of 10. Period. From reaching out for my first consult with Coach Malcolm to signing up and going regularly with Dre I've really enjoyed I Am/ I Can. The gym is clean, they have everything you need and they meet you where you are while pushing you to be your best. You know the coaches are knowledgeable and it's such a welcoming vibe. The app is so easy and makes signing up for class simple and easy to manage. There are plenty of classes and I choose the super early 5am and actually look forward to it. I'm looking forward to continuing to grow and smash my goals!
